The Story Behind Emerald Key Wellness
Hi, I am Janis Oenbrink, the founder of Emerald Key Wellness. My journey into functional medicine started with my own health struggles. I battled severe hormone imbalance and underwent five surgeries for endometriosis. I know exactly how frustrating it feels to be told your labs are normal when you are completely exhausted.
In 2021, a severe inflammatory reaction forced me to look beyond traditional medicine. By addressing my systemic inflammation, utilizing Low Dose Naltrexone, and optimizing my hormones with bioidentical therapy, I finally got my life back. I opened this clinic in January 2022 to help you do the exact same thing.
I hold a Master of Science in Nursing and am an AANP Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I also hold a degree in Exercise Science and am a certified Biote provider, a Florida Facial Specialist, and an official prescriber for the LDN Research Trust. When I am not in the clinic, I love spending time with my husband, my two teenage daughters, and our crazy pets out on the boat or at the beach.
